Endorsements
In the early 1900's Louis Chevrolet earned a national reputation as a fearless race car driver. His victories (and spectacular accidents) made headlines across the country. Louis leveraged this favorable publicity to his advantage, and was able to obtain a number of product endorsements throughout his career. Most were for automotive and petroleum related items. Gaston Chevrolet was also pitching a wide array of products, especially after his victory in the 1920 Indy 500.
Below are some vintage advertisements that feature the famous Chevrolet brothers. It is a true testament to the old adage that says "What wins on Sunday, sells on Monday".
